VS-6820 Solar Cell I-V Test Station

SOLab is particularly suited for laboratories as it provides basic critical parameter testing and measuring of photovoltaic cells. Normalization software can standardize test result to Standard Reporting/ Testing Condition (SRC/STC) in respect to ASTM, IEC and JIS standards.

With the advanced capabilities, SOLab series provides superior features for Temperature Coefficients, Spectral Response Measurement and spectrum mismatching factor calculation to cater for ever changing new challenges on testing for new materials in photovoltaic.
Spectral mismatching correction is key feature to achieve creditable test result for the organic material, dye sensitized cell material, other Novell material.


The design and build of SOLab series not only provides flexible use in many laboratories and research institutes, but creating a platform which can be easily upgradeable for production usage. Add-ons modular handling system offers user choices for easy conversion for sorting functions and capabilities.

SOLab runs complete I-V, P-V Curve for

     Basic critical parameters measurement:

  • short circuit Current (Isc)

  • open circuit Voltage (Voc)
  • Peak Power (Pmax)
  • Maximum Power Voltage (Vmp)
  • Maximum Power Current (Imp)
  • Cell Efficiency (ŋ)
  • Fill Factor (FF)

     Temperature Coefficient measurement:

  • Temperature coefficient of Isc: α (mA/ºC)

  • Temperature coefficient of Voc: β (mV/ ºC)
  • Temperature coefficient of Pmax: γ (mw/°C)

     SR & Spectrum mismatch Measurement:

  • Relative spectral response

  • 400 nm to 1064nm, 50nm interval
  • Filter method, 10nm FWHM, 50 x 50 mm
